The Concord, NC, based converter, Complete Design and Packaging, has installed the Kolbus MN400 MULTINOVA compact multi-point gluer to aid their business in providing an array of custom corrugated packaging and displays.
The MN400 MULTINOVA gluer specializes in converting small to large sized run lengths of straight-line and crash-lock box work. This machine is extremely quick to set taking between 5-10 minutes for straight-line or only 15-20 minutes for crash-lock, with computerized memory control for repeat glue position jobs. It is a perfect gluer for batches of a few hundred up to a few thousand.
To the company’s pleasant surprise, the MN400 MULTINOVA was delivered ahead of schedule. Within a few days, the Kolbus team had installed the machine installed and completed training.

I have worked in sheet plants for over 30 years and bought a lot of machines. I am amazed with the quality of boxes our new AUTOBOX makes. The registration is excellent especially when producing jumbo boxes with high board grades. We also think the flexo print is extremely good quality.
